Fairplay for ski tourers

For ski tourers, there is the offer of the Fairplay Card on the Petzen: With EUR 10 you make your infrastructure contribution and can use the ski touring car park free of charge and climb the mountain on the marked routes.
From 15th of January 2025:
During the operating hours of the cable car (09:00 - 16:00) there is an ascent track at your disposal. No entry to the slopes between 5:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.!
Exception
Every Wednesday until 8 p.m. (last departure) the ski route along the valley descent and stollen slope bypass to the "Alte Zollhütte" or GH Siebenhütten and "Ezzo's Skihütte" is available for use at your own risk.
Seven huts, tunnels and training slopes are closed daily, even on Wednesdays, between 4 pm and 8:30 am!

 

Season tickets

The Petzen season ticket also includes touring - no Fairplay Card has to be purchased. 
Touring Season tickets cost EUR 140,- / with the descent with the cable car it costs EUR 200,-
Touring is not included in the season ticket of the Ski Region South and in the Ski Pass Carinthia - a Fairplay Card must be purchased.

 

Winter Carinthia Card

With the Winter Carinthia Card, touring on the Petzen is included 1x daily between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. - no Fairplay Card has to be purchased. The Kärnten Card is scanned by the employee of the practice lift (mountain).
The Winter Carinthia Card is not valid for special events, such as before 8:30 a.m. or after 4 p.m.

 

Parking spaces for ski tourers

We ask all tourers to use the ski touring car park marked with a yellow arrow and to keep the parking spaces "P1", "P2" and family parking spaces free for our winter sports guests.

Rules

 
  • Choose the ascent track preferably off-slope or on the left edge of the slope
  • Select the edge of the slope in case of bottlenecks / on the ski path please go outside!
  • Strictly avoid walking next to each other!
  • To refrain from crossing slopes in places with poor visibility
  • Avoid crossing slopes or carry them out as quickly as possible and keep enough distance from several tourers (no closed chain!)
  • It is forbidden to bring dogs on the slopes!
  • In the spirit of good cooperation, we ask you to comply with the above points so that we can continue to provide the offers on the Petzen in the usual quality and safety in the future.
